Notes for Thomas Barnes

Came to America on the Speedwell, sailing from Gravesend abt May 20, 1656 & landing in Boston, MA, Jun 27, 1656, in company with Shadrack Hapgood, John Fay, Nathaniel Goodnow, and Thomas Goodnow, whose daughter Abigail he marrled. He was 20 years of age when he came to this country. He
bought land (8 acres) of Jonathan Johnson in 1663.
