Notes for Edwin Grayson

A Grayson chart drawn up by Charles McIntosh Noble does show two brothers, John & Samuel, & states that both died in MS. Several unnamed sisters are also shown. Noble noted that "Family tradition states that Edwin was a native of England, who came to VA with two brothers in 17--. He was a young gentleman of small means. He married Anna Cavendish against the wishes of her parents. Resided in VA a few years, & then removed to KY. " Then for Thomas Grayson he also states that "When quite young he removed to KY, & pioneered with Daniel Boone."
